Monday, 25th March - Recovery!

Monday was a pretty wasted day - in all meanings of the word.

We had to be out of the hotel by noon, and most of the morning was spent trying to recover from the very late night the night before/trying to talk about the very late night the night before/wishing we'd packed everything before the late night the night before. Somehow we managed to get out the hotel room by noon. But in the panic I left behind a computer mouse and telephone cable. Doh!

I had a booking for another night at the Radisson, and took Rosie, TO Elf and Primula to the airport, after we all said our goodbyes outside the front of the hotel. As we were saying goodbye I'm sure I saw Des' MuuMuu disappearing off into the sunset (For more information go to http://www.geocities.com/the_one_muumuu).

The trip to the airport was made a little more exciting by my confusing East with West, but somehow we got there for the 2pm deadline that was needed for the girls' flights. The rest of my day was spent sorting through the party photo's, running up a huge phone bill at The Radisson, and catching up on sleep.

After we got back, one of our party, Primula, wrote some fantastic word images of the events at The One Party. These are beautiful poems - and no, I'm not just saying that because there's a completely false one about me! Click on the following link to read Primula's Poems
