Saturday, 23rd March - A Quick Reccie

    With new arrivals over night, the first group meeting was arranged for brunch at 11am. At 9am a hardy few decided to go on a "reccie" of the area and gathered outside the front of the hotel.

Walking towards Farmer's Market we came across two trucks and a film crew - now we really started to feel like we were in LA!

Pip finds that elusive party ingredient - the Henna tattoo kit

    The ladies soon found the nearest cosmetics shop and started hunting around for "essential" items for tomorrow night's One Ring party. Leslie (Pippin's Scarf) discovered a Henna tattoo kit - ideal for creating a temporary group tattoo for the night...
.. and Des found some other concoction (it looks like a bottle of beer to me, but I know nothing of the vagaries of women's make-up)

    Leslie (Pippin's Scarf) found she had a store named after her....
.. while Ward, having worried some of us with his interest in make-up the night before showed an unhealthy interest in trashy lingerie!
